This month, a beloved member of Pioneer’s home care team passed away. Ms. Marilyn Taylor worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Pioneer for almost 10 years. Marilyn was a wonderful Nurse, who dedicated herself to the patients that she cared for. We are thinking of Marilyn and her loved ones at this very difficult time. Rest in peace.

On May 7th, Pioneer Home Care, Inc. attended the SKIP of New York Ruby Slipper Awards 2015. This fundraising event was held to help New York's most chronically ill and developmentally disabled children and young adults access the services they need to live at home instead of hospitals and institutions. Pioneer Home Care, Inc. proudly supports the SKIP (Sick Kids Need Involved People) organization and their not-for-profit mission.

On May 7th, Pioneer Home Care, Inc. participated in the Job and Transition Fair at Southern Westchester BOCES. Many healthcare facilities and colleges were represented at the Fair, offering students an insight into the opportunities available to them upon graduating.

In September 2013, a valued member of Pioneer Home Care, Inc. team passed away. Malonne Cantave worked as a Registered Nurse with Pioneer for over 10 years. Her dedication and commitment to her patients has been an integral part of our success and growth. No words can adequately express our sadness at Malonne's death. We will honor her memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work she loved so much. Rest in Peace.
