As an established home care company, Pioneer Home Care, Inc. has cared for and supported thousands of patients in the five boroughs of New York City and Westchester since 1995. Pioneer renders services to patients of all ages - from neonatals, infants, toddlers and young adults, to adults and the elderly. Pioneer provides home health services to recovering, disabled and chronically ill persons in need of medical, nursing, social, or therapeutic treatment and/or assistance with the essential activities of daily living. Services are personalized to meet the specific needs of our patients and their loved ones in their own homes.
Our services can be divided into three core segments:
Newborn Nursing Program: Assistance for Parents
Pioneer Home Care Inc.'s Newborn Nursing Program was designed to effectively support parents of newborn babies in the five boroughs of New York and Westchester. The Program offers trained nurses to work with families in their homes to create a smooth transition to parenthood.
A nurse will visit your home and provide you with accurate and reliable information to support you in caring for your baby's needs. Pioneer understands the challenges in caring for a newborn baby and our friendly nurses will offer the knowledge and support you need to confidently make informed choices. Our nurses educate parents about newborn care including feeding, bathing, sleeping and changing diapers. Nurses will also assess and monitor your infant's vital signs, weight and bilirubin level.
Pioneer Home Care, Inc. recognizes and supports the emotional needs of adjusting to life with a newborn and we can introduce families to networks of parents locally who share similar experiences.
Our Team
Pioneer Home Care, Inc.’s team of skilled and experienced professionals is committed to patients and their families. Pioneer understands the challenges in caring for someone with health difficulties and strives to deliver the best care. Our field employees - registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN) and home health aides (HHA) - have excellent experience in providing home care services while our office staff (including registered and licensed nurses) has 50 combined years of home care experience. Pioneer’s skilled and dedicated nursing personnel coordinate with the patient’s doctors to ensure that the patient’s medical needs are met. Our compassionate team assists and supports patients and their loved ones in managing complex health issues with comfort and respect. We listen and adapt to patient’s needs in their homes, providing a friendly service that can be trusted.
