What can I expect on the first home care visit?

On the first home care visit, the Director of Nursing will review the case, speak to the client/family members and assess the care that is needed to ensure that the case is appropriate for home care.  The Nurse will take a detailed history, insurance information, medications, and learn about the client’s needs.  The medical team involved will also be consulted before services begin.
